Add a Category
From the home page, click the hamburger menu (3 horizontal lines) in the upper-left of the web portal.
From the menu, select the “settings” menu option featuring a gear icon.
Select “Divisions and Categories”.
On this screen, you will see all of your divisions listed. Select a division to create a new task category for that division.
Note that each task category will only be available for the division in which it’s created. For this example, we will select the “Cleaning” division.
After selecting the division, we will select the category type.
For this example, we will select “Before/After”. Before/After Tasks are the most common tasks in most organizations, requiring a before and after photo to verify task completion.
Quick Actions are for tasks that don’t require before/after photos.
After selecting the category type, we will select “Categories” to update the details of the tasks in that category.
To add a new category of task, we will click the purple “plus” icon in the upper-right of the page.
This will lead us to the “Add a Category” screen.
We will add a name for the new category. For this example, we will use “Dog Station” and a puppy icon.
We can also indicate if this category is used for fixed assets. For this example, we will say “yes”.
The “Quantity Input Enabled” field is used when you’d like to indicate the quantity of the task completed. For example, an ambassador may pick up multiple trash bags from a single location at one time.
Click the green check mark to save your new task category.
